Biography

Better Health has been in existence since 1989. Our founder and director, Susan McCamish, has been associated with the field of nutrition for twenty years and has had several years of extensive study and training in neuromuscular testing methods.

Susan is a Certified Traditional Naturopath (C.T.N.) by the American Naturopathic Certification Board. She is also a Certified Nutritional Consultant (C.N.C.) with The American Association of Nutritional Consultants.

Susan has given numerous lectures on the subject of Electromagnetism and the Human Body. Susan McCamish, and the staff of Better Health continue to both study the various areas of alternative medicine, and incorporate this advanced study into the research and testing performed at the Center.

Susan became involved in the field of Naturopathy after being diagnosed with Lyme disease, Fibromyalgia, and Epstein Barr Virus only to discover she was also dealing with cancer. Being from an allopathic background, alternative medicine seemed like a last resort, but because the tumor was inoperable it became her only resort. This not only led to Susan overcoming her health issues, but changed her career path to a satisfying one in alternative medicine.

After working with immune issues for many years professionally, it touched Susan personally with the onset of her son’s debilitating illness. This illness led to him becoming wheelchair bound. After a long and vigorous search for help in both alternative and medical worlds, she learned that he too had Lyme disease; this included many faceted layers of illness.
